At long last the second Plymouth studio is finally open and I am ready to start teaching weekly group Burlesque sessions. To book any of my lessons just use this link. Lessons will be held on a Wednesday evening (starting 19th August) at 6.30pm and will last for an hour. Each lesson will be limited to a maximum of 10 places only so booking in advance is highly recommended.

The Burlesque lessons not only help keep you active but they will improve both your posture and your confidence. Burlesque is a fabulous way to stay in shape whilst having fun and unlike the art of dance high impact pole dancing lessons is more suitable for those of you who want to keep fit at a slower pace!

Each lesson costs £10 per person but if you book a 6 week block you get your lesson at just £8 per lesson.
Taster sessions £8 only – Wednesday 19th August, Wednesday 26th August & Wednesday 2nd September. 6 week course starts Wednesday 9th September.

My Burlesque lessons will run in a 6 week block with each lesson aiming to cover a different area of Burlesque, see my schedule below,

Week 1 – Posture / deportment – Wednesday 9th September
Week 2 – Music & Movement – Wednesday 16th September
Week 3 – Choreography – Wednesday 23rd September
Week 4 - Basic striptease – Wednesday 30th September
Week 5 –Off the wall!! – Wednesday 7th October
Week 6 – putting together your final performance – Wednesday 14th October

At the end of each 6 week block we will be holding an open evening for anyone wanting to come in and do an amateur Burlesque performance! Full details to follow.

Catherine D'Lish

It is less than 3 weeks till the opening of the second studio and at long last I will be able to provide regular Burlesque classes rather than just private lessons. Sam has been talking about a Burlesque artist called Catherine D'Lish, Sam found Catherine's video on Glamourpuss's blog. Catherine has the most amazing dress and I am looking forward to seeing more of her work.

The Ball is getting ever closer and I haven't even chosen a song yet, Sam is going to get hold of a few songs for me to see if I can pick one for the 7th June, wish me luck,
